Easing of Restrictions

The Government of Ontario made an announcement on March 9th that several of the COVID-19 public health measures will be withdrawn in the coming weeks.

One of these measures is the masking requirement, which will be removed on March 21st for most places. This, however, does not include healthcare settings, such as dental offices.

What this means is that our current protocols of;

-COVID screening questionnaire prior to being seen for your appointment
-Taking your temperature
-Sanitizing your hands upon entry to and exit from our office
-Masking when entering and exiting our office, removing the mask only after being seated and while receiving your orthodontic treatment
-Staggering appointments and limiting the number of people in the office
-The use of personal protective equipment regulations for myself and my staff for all orthodontic appointments

…will remain as they have been throughout the pandemic as mandated by the Ontario Ministry of Health and our regulator, The Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. These infection prevention and control measures are for your safety and for that of our staff. Visconti Orthodontics is committed to providing you a safe environment in which to receive your orthodontic care.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our office at 705-268-8400.

Sincerely,
